American Hospital Association unveils its AHA Centre for Health Innovation

Healthcare is witnessing rapid innovation in the form of telehealth software, patient communication software, remote patient monitoring software, etc. Now, the American Hospital Association has unveiled its AHA Center for Health Innovation. It is a project that is meant to provide inpatient providers resources to deal with rapid change being witnessed across healthcare.

The goal of the Center is not to only help health systems manage and respond to the change but, also assist them to proactively take advantage of innovations. Its work will focus primarily on market intelligence, provide new leadership development support, enable strategic partnerships, within the healthcare and outside it.

This center will give the health systems regular updates, perspective on influential forces reshaping healthcare and guide hospital decision makers understand how they will impact care delivery and the bottom line.

Another aspect of the center is that it will play a big role for the AHA Innovation Challenge created to help find and promote novel successful initiatives by getting together creative thinkers, catalyzing their ideas and scaling up the technologies that emerge from it. AHA will also focus on another aspect of healthcare that is innovating at a fast speed: cyber threats.
